§ 18.08.030. Appeal procedures.

An interested party may file with the board of adjustment an appeal specifying his objections. Copies are filed with the mayor and the city clerk within the time required by the zoning ordinance. The city clerk shall provide the board with all pertinent records, including the planning and zoning commission's written decision. An appeal to the board stays enforcement proceedings unless the board or a court issues an enforcement order based on a certificate of imminent peril to life or property made by the enforcement officer.
