§ 2.08.050. Oath.

A.

All councilmembers before entering upon the duties of office shall affirm in writing the following oath and affirmation:

I, ____________ , do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Alaska and the ordinances of the City of Hydaburg, Alaska, and that I will honestly, faithfully and impartially perform the duties of the office of councilmember to the best of my ability.

B.

The oath is filed with the city clerk.
