§ 4.16.010. Purchasing agent—Designated—Duties.

A.

There shall be a purchasing agent for the city to make all purchases of supplies, materials, equipment, and contractual services for the offices, departments and agencies of the city government.

B.

The mayor is the purchasing agent for the city. However, the mayor may designate the clerk or other city employee to be the city purchasing agent, subject to council approval by resolution.
